BJ's Forklift Hire is a locally owned and operated forklift hire and lease business servicing the Central Otago region.

We have provided a well-maintained modern fleet of forklifts to our customers for more than 12 years.

Queenstown, Wanaka, Alexandra, Cromwell, Roxburgh

Our hire and lease forklifts are used extensively throughout Central Otago by a variety of customers across a range of industries including warehousing, logistics and horticulture in particular the fruit and wine sectors.

We offer a range of Series 8 Toyota forklift sizes and options including container compatible masts and rotators for bin tipping. Our lineup includes Petrol, LPG, Diesel and Electric powered models.

For customers with more demanding requirements we can supply 4x4 Rough Terrain Manitou forklifts, specially designed for off-road operation with high ground clearance and large tyres.

Flexibility and support

Our forklifts can be hired for any length of time from one day through to a five-year lease. Throughout the rental agreement we provide full backup and support.

All repair and planned maintenance costs are included in the forklift hire charges and should a workshop repair ever be required replacement forklifts are always on hand.

Competitive all inclusive rates

We offer competitive rates for short or long-term forklift rentals including free delivery with long-term hires and leases. Servicing and repair costs are included in our rental agreements so there are no surprises and planned service and maintenance is always scheduled around your requirements.

Toyota 8-Series Forklifts

With sizes ranging from 1.8 tonne through to 5.0 tonnes; petrol, LPG, diesel and electric powered, we have a forklift to suit most customer requirements. Built tough and with legendary reliability, Toyota 8-Series forklifts are very popular engine counterbalance forklifts, and for very good reason.

Comfort

Toyota 8-Series forklifts feature a wide deep step, spacious opening and ample foot room.

The Operator Restraint System features a fully adjustable seat providing comfort and support to almost all sizes of operator.

The small diameter steering wheel aids makes operating easy.

Safety

Toyota pioneered the use of active safety systems with the development of its System of Active Stability (SAS). SAS performs more than 3,000 calculations per second to prevent instability related accidents during lifting and turning.
